What We Believe

About the Bible

We believe the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the verbally and plenarily inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed and are, therefore, the final authority for faith and practice. The sixty-six books of God’s Word are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man. We believe that God not only inspired every word, but that He has preserved them through the ages. We believe that the King James Version is the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people.

About God

We believe in one God; Who is eternal, self-existent, infinite, and immutable; yet He manifests Himself to man in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe each is co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, coequal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.

About Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a sinless representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice, and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate. Jesus Christ is now waiting for the time of receiving His church at the rapture, which is followed by His return seven years later to earth to rule and reign as King for 1,000 years.

 About the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit of God is a person who has personality and all the attributes of Deity. I believe the Holy Spirit has always been involved in the affairs of mankind; however, we believe He has a special ministry that began at Pentecost and will continue until the rapture. This ministry includes reproving the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit was also sent to regenerate, sanctify, seal, and fill all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

About Sin

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God; but that in Adam’s sin the human race fell, inherited a sin nature, and became alienated from God. Man is totally depraved and, of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. We believe that all those who reject Jesus Christ as their Savior will be condemned to an eternity in the lake of fire.

About Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who shed His blood on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. We believe that all sins, except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (which is any sin that a person refuses to request forgiveness), are forgivable. We believe that once a person is saved, he is kept by God’s power and remains secure in Christ forever.

About the Church

We believe that the local church, which is the body and the espoused bride of Christ, is solely made up of born-again believers. We believe that the church began with the calling out of the twelve apostles by Jesus Christ and was empowered on the day of Pentecost. We believe the local church is composed of members who have been saved and baptized according to the command of Christ and have voluntarily united together for the purposes of worship, fellowship, service, and observance of the ordinances of baptism and communion. We believe all true believers will be taken up at the rapture, just prior to the tribulation.

About the End Times

We believe in that , the personal, imminent return of Christ, who will rapture His church prior to the seven-year tribulation period. At the end of the Tribulation, Christ will personally and visibly return with His saints, to establish His earthly Messianic Kingdom, which was promised to the nation of Israel. Following this one-thousand-year reign is the Great White Throne judgment and then the new heaven and new earth.
